5 Things Making Mom Life Easier Right Now

When you become a mom, people recommend a lot of products. Some are helpful for a little while, some end up forgotten in a closet, and a few become things you reach for almost every single day.

Over time, I’ve realized the things that make the biggest difference in our house usually aren’t the most exciting purchases… they’re just the small things that make everyday life run a little smoother.

These are a few things making mom life easier for me right now.

One thing I use every single day is my Shark Vacmop. With four boys in the house, the floors never stay clean for long. Crumbs, dirt, and whatever mystery stickiness kids manage to track through the kitchen seem to appear almost immediately after I clean. The Vacmop has been one of those purchases that actually lives up to the hype because I use it multiple times a day.

I also recently got a Tineco floor cleaner, and I love it just as much. It’s one of those things that makes cleaning feel a little less overwhelming because it handles the mess quickly. When your house is lived in by kids all day, tools that simplify cleaning make a huge difference.

For the boys, the Toniebox 2 has been one of the best things we’ve added to our house. It’s a little audio player that uses character figures to play stories and songs. The kids love choosing which character to put on top, and I love that it gives them something engaging to listen to without needing a screen.

Another thing the boys have been loving lately is a retro handheld gamer. It’s simple and nostalgic, and they think it’s the coolest thing. Sometimes it’s the simplest toys that keep them entertained the longest.

One small thing that has made our daily routine easier is switching to bento boxes for the boys’ lunches. Everything fits neatly into one container, and it makes packing lunches quicker.

I also grabbed some clear plastic organizing bags for toys, and they’ve been surprisingly helpful. Instead of toys constantly spreading throughout the house, we can group similar things together and actually find them again later.

And one small change that made life easier with the baby was switching from a high chair to a booster seat on the dining chair. It takes up less space, feels more natural at the table, and honestly just works better for our setup.

Motherhood has taught me that the things that make life easier are rarely the big dramatic changes. Most of the time it’s just the little systems and tools that help your house run a bit more smoothly.

Right now, these are a few of the things doing that for us.
